Dharma Diaries: How Feelings Become Our Roadmap

Early today, as I was sitting outside under the warm sun on my patio bench, I opened my journal to scribe morning pages. After completing this inquiry piece on feelings, I realized later in the day that this was divine penmanship regarding tomorrow's eclipse.

Growth, healing, progression ~ it's all happening in this eclipse season and the spotlight will be on feelings, emotions and vulnerability. There is no greater gift than to become your authentic self and this ecliptic energy will help you get there.

Apply yourself to solitude. One who does so will see things as they are” Buddha Quote

Morning Pages, Sunday, April 7th, 2024

Words on a page are just words until they are felt by the heart.

Thoughts and feelings are just thoughts and feelings, fleeting in a moment’s time,

unless you hold on tight to them.

Feelings are insight to the wisdom we hold in our soul

if you listen.

A feeling can be here in the moment and gone tomorrow.

So do not let your feelings stick around too long.

Let them go after they’ve served you and you have learned the lessons.

Sit With It

Feeling is Healing

When you feel your feelings for truth., they become a channel to your inner wisdom and intuition.

Don’t let your feelings get buried without processing them first ~

they deserve your love and attention.

Feel them,

Hold them,

Love them,

Learn from them,

Release them.

Some need a minute, others may take hours or days.

Whatever they need, provide it for yourself.

Allow them to give you insight and paving the path ahead, revealing your next best step.

Don’t ignore your feelings, or let them pile up on top of one another.

Don’t sweep them under a rug.

You know what will happen.

Everything will blow up and come out sideways,

causing unnecessary chaos.

Sit With It

Instead, notice your feelings for what they are.

Stop making yourself wrong about your feelings.

After all, they are your feelings, no one else’s.

You are allowed to feel what you feel.

You don’t need permission from someone else.

No one should be making you wrong about your feelings.

You own them like a cozy blanket, a harsh wound, or grounds for a battle field.

Whatever they are, whatever you are feeling, they are yours.

Look deep into your heart and follow her guidance.

She will free you.
